Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a FTSE listed business based in Dudley with their recruitment of a Finance Business Partner. (required to be in the office 1 to 2 days a week)

Reporting to the Head of Finance the Finance Business Partner will provide world class service to deliver commercial insight on business performance to influence the decision making process, drive profitable growth and support the delivery of the organisations long term strategic goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of one direct report
  • Support the business to manage the budget effectively, working in partnership to flag opportunities and risks early to enable robust accounting and forecasting to take place.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reporting.
  • Responsibility for production of rolling forecasts, six monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Support efficiency initiatives through cost base insight and reviews.
  • Building, maintaining and influencing strong relationships with key stakeholders (both internally and externally).
  • Drive the impact and understanding of financial information through insightful reporting and interpretation to influence decision making and promote business performance across the Business.
  • Report performance to senior stakeholders (Finance Director, Managing Director & Contract Director)
  • Business Partner service line leads to improve performance and assist in their understanding of their P&Ls

Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent within a financial role.
  • Track record of building strong relationships and advising or influencing senior management from a finance perspective.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in a financial management role of a business unit (or similar role) within complex service industry.
  • A high degree of financial, commercial and customer awareness.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly pressurised and driven environment.
