The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of business decision-making, working closely with operational teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior management to provide strategic financial insight and business support
- Prepare detailed management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Lead monthly business reviews and present findings to stakeholders
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across finance functions
- Support budgeting and planning cycles with operational teams
- Conduct profitability analysis and margin improvement projects
- Assist with project appraisals and capital investment decisions
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Recently qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist with strong academic results
- 2-4 years' experience in a finance role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Proactive approach with genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving
Desirable:
- Experience with financial modelling and business case development
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting
- PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools
- Previous exposure to continuous improvement methodologies
