Investigo are currently partnered with a global, highly recognisable business who are looking to hire a Finance Manager for their well established UK finance team.

The Finance Manager acts as a vital role in the team to complete monthly and year-end reporting. The role places importance on designing and implementing process improvements. Will be a senior member of the team, leading and guiding junior members of the team. This will include review and signing off work completed by junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Reporting and Accounting

  • Management of the month end close- including posting journals as well as reviewing journals prepared by junior members of the team
  • Submission and coordination of financial reporting to Regional and Global Controllership- this includes controllership reports, analysis and HFM submissions
  • Produce EDRs/ monthly reporting package submitted to business partners, and work with business partners to improve month end review process
  • Complete & Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Transitioning entities into UK Controllership Structure
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation management in new Cadency system and implement process improvement
  • Support for new initiatives and projects in 2021
  • Ensuring processes and controls are operating effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with all accounting policies under US GAAP
  • Ensuring all SOX testing and external audits are run successfully and on time
  • Oversight of shared services team providing services to the UK division
  • Partner with UK transactions team on day to day matters
  • Partner with project teams on system implementation and process optimisation
  • Drive process improvement and process standardisation within the UK division
  • Manage, develop and lead two junior Management Accountants
  • Strong leadership for the team and stakeholder management during a period of transformation
  • Manage communication with senior stakeholders
  • Assisting the Regional Controller / FC / FD with any other Ad Hoc queries
