Finance Manager

Investigo are partnering a business services company in Surrey, to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager due to ongoing growth.

The Finance Manager is responsible for delivering accurate financial accounts on a monthly basis including accurate calculation and agreement of inter-company numbers and analysis of results at a trial balance/balance sheet level. Process improvement and development along with controls implementation and strengthening also form key dimensions of this role. You will also be responsible for a small team including development and training.

The ideal profile, is someone who has worked previously as a Finance Manager or a mid sized company, as you will be exposed from the bottom up. Also candidates must be commercially minded, as you will be working closely with operations and the senior leadership team.

Looking for:

• Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• The jobholder must have a good range of financial skills with a particular emphasis on delivering accurate financial accounts within a time pressured environment
• Attention to detail and quickly joining up links between different pieces of information
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Strong communication skills; both, within own functional department and externally with non-finance staff
• Experience of management and development of trainee accountants
• Relevant technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS101
