Finance Manager

Investigo is supporting an impressive brand in their search to add a brand new headcount to their core finance function. With over £10billion in AUM, this ambitious business has set out to double this in the next 5 years. To help facilitate this growth, the business is in need of a Finance Manager who can take on the development of a team of 2 Accountants and manage the more value adding finance duties to the wider business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Consolidation of multi-currency group management accounts and wider monthly reporting
• Oversight of accounting for Luxembourg entities (supported by external administrators)
• Develop financial planning and analysis, focusing on P&L, cashflow and working capital forecast modelling
• Support on year-end statutory accounts (UK, Luxembourg, and US) and group audit (completed by external accountants / administrators / auditors)
• Assisting the prep of global annual budgets
• Oversight of regulatory financial returns
• Ad hoc support of due diligence of deals, launching new bases of operations globally, implementation of systems automation projects

Experience required:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant with at least 2-3 years PQE within an asset management / alternatives firm
• Proactive, tenacious approach to work - consider yourself a problem solver and be willing to apply yourself to new challenges
• Desire to keep learning and developing
• Good excel skills - desire to want to gain experience with modelling or have some exposure to commercial finance
• Team orientated - able to prioritise and allocate tasks where required
