Finance Manager

My client is a highly prestigious and well known UK listed property company who are currently looking for a Finance Manager for a newly created position. The role is sitting within a new business line and will require a highly commercial individual who is capable of extensively business partnering with non-finance stakeholders. Further to this, the role is looking after a small team so it will require someone who is capable of inspiring and developing other individuals.

As the role is within a new business line previous experience of that would be desirable and while this is a Real Estate business experience in that area is not essential. Key Responsibilities

- Managing and co-ordinating a team of 5 qual & PQ accountants

-Business partnering with operational and development team members

- Provide strategic direction for new developments

- Oversee financial & management reporting for given projects

-Process improvement

- Budgeting & forecasting for the new developments

- Liaise with external auditors when necessary

-Present monthly reports to senior management

Key Requirements

- ACA qualified

- Strong commercial mindset

- 3 - 5 years post qualified

- Proven strategic and analytical skills

- Management experience is desirable
