Investigo are partnering with a SME client looking to appoint a Finance Manager on a 12 month Maternity Contract based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Finance Manager Milton Keynes you will report into the Managing Director to ensure all financial controls and month end is run smoothly in line with company standards. Other duties to include:

  • Manage UK subsidiary finances
  • Full management accounts preparation and variance analysis
  • Manage x1 report :Finance Assistant
  • Month end close of ledgers AR, AP, GL
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lead role and contact for internal and external annual audit
  • Stock management (liaise with transport and warehouse)
  • Intercompany transactions - recharges and commissions
  • Manage cashflow ensure credit function keep inline with payment terms
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Calculating payroll for 3rd party and ensuring salaries and PAYE are paid accurately and on time
  • Management and payment of pension contributions, including auto enrolment responsibilities
  • Monthly Intrastat and EC Sales submissions
  • Annual packaging compliance calculations and submissions
  • Negotiation and administration of company insurance policies
  • Liaising with HMRC- providing figures and information to 3rd parties for annual accounts, corporation tax return and P11D's

The Profile

The successful candidate will need to have previous financial and management accounts experience

Previous management or supervisory experience

Ability to adhere to tight month end deadlines

Ideally SAP system skills experience

Strong communication skills


£35,000 to £40,000 plus benefits
