Investigo Finance are recruiting a Financial Accountant for a client based on the Bedford/Cambs border on a 12 month fixed term contract.
In the position of Financial Accountant , you will support the Group Financial Controller around tight robust financial controls during year end. Key duties to include:
* Ownership of monthly trial balance and balance sheet
* Prepare monthly manual journal review and commentary
* Production of full accounts in accordance with IFRS and GAAP
* Business partnering with multiple cost centres
* Monthly P&L reviews
* Review all UK and International cash reconciliations
* Prepare and submit the periodic VAT returns for multiple international countries and keeping abreast of any changes in local requirements
* Prepare Company statutory accounts
* Responsible for managing and overseeing interim and year-end audit and liaising with external auditors
* Ad hoc projects
The Profile
Qualified Accountant either ACA or ACCA
Strong technical accounting experience e.g. IFRS/GAAP
Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail
Experience in problem solving and working to tight deadlines under pressure
Salary
£48,000 to £53,000
