£350 a day (inside IR35)

Remote based but occasional travel to Watford when allowed

Investigo are delighted to be supporting an attractive, multi-site brand based who are seeking a technical astute Financial Accountant to help them through a busy period of the accounting calendar

Reporting directly to the Head of Group Accounting, you will have strong technical experience around statutory accounts preparation, balance sheet recs & working closely with Auditors.

This role is likely to last 4-5 months.

Key Duties:

• Preparing statutory accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of accounts
• Posting journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations across a number of P&L lines
• Assisting with the Tax team
• Playing a pivotal role for preparing the company ahead of an external audit

As well as being technically strong and possessing a good working level of Excel (as there is lots of spreadsheet work), it would be a benefit to have some working knowledge of IFRS16, although not essential.
