Financial Accountant - Banking Sector - £50,000-£55,000

A leading specialist bank are currently recruiting for a technically strong Financial Accountant with a background in Big 4 / Top 10 Audit. Working for a business which has gone from strength to strength and has a track record for developing people internally.

An excellent first step into a business which will make excellent use of your technical accounting background

Financial Accountant:

· Involvement in financial control for multiple legal entities, including in the UK and Europe;
· Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations for multiple legal entities;
· Enhance and improve accounting procedures and policies that support the production of financial results;
· Ensure data accuracy within general ledger
· Prepare quarterly financial reports for presentation to the board
· Manage month end close process and deliver within agreed timescales

You will be an ACA/ACCA Qualified accountant with a strong technical background and in depth understanding of financial accounting standards. Coming from accountancy practice including the Big 4 or Top 10 would be advantageous, specifically if you have had experience of auditing Financial Services & Banking clients.
