Financial Controller

Our client is a well-established multi-site business in central Hertfordshire. One of the fastest growing companies of its kind, they have built up a strong industry reputation over the last 10 years and are currently embarking on a strategic program across the group to increase the number of UK sites and grow market share. Highly entrepreneurial with a fantastic cooperative culture this multi-million turnover business require a Financial Controller to become a key decision maker and contribute to strategic initiatives, challenge and improve decision making, tighten controls and increase business output of management information including financial reporting, core finance and projects.

Based in their UK office in Hertfordshire, the role will take ownership in all aspects of financial reporting and accounting matters and will include the supervision of a finance team of 6. You will support the senior leadership team, challenge the status quo and influence processes and projects and will suit ambitious forward thinking candidates looking to take their career forward. The client requires a qualified accountant, ideally ACA/ ACCA, with post qualified experience ideally gained within a growing corporate business at the senior manager/ controller level.
