Financial Controller

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a large FTSE listed business based in Northamptonshire who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller, on a permanent basis.

As a result of continued growth and transformation this newly created Financial Controller role will support a Sector Finance Director with the overall management of all finance duties. They will own the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts production process including all balance sheet, statutory and tax requirements. The Financial Controller will be the go to person for all technical accounting queries, and they will need to look at process, controls to ensure they are robust. A key area of this role initially will be to look at the collapse/reduction of a number of legal entities, including vat returns and bank accounts. The Financial Controller will be expected to engage with finance and operational leads across a number of sectors to support the drive on cost efficiency's across the entire business. This role will manage a finance team of Qualified and Non-Qualified individuals.

The successful Candidate is likely to be an ACA or ACCA Qualified individual who has demonstrable experience across all technical accounting areas. They will be a proven leader who is comfortable managing and driving a team covering a wide range of accounting duties. This role will require the incumbent to be an exceptional communicator who can liaise and business partner effectively.
