The international client that I am partnering with is searching for an outstanding finance professional to step into the Financial Controller role within their established finance function.
My client operates in the technology space and, as such, has a very strong preference for candidates with experience within this space.
An international technology business with an established reputation within their space. Having experienced significant growth in recent years they are now recognised as one of the leaders in the market.
Sitting within an experienced finance function and reporting into an established Finance Director, this role will be responsible for financial reporting, management reporting and commercial input to the budgeting and forecasting process.
Aside from the aforementioned duties, you should have the opportunity to bolster the performance and reporting of the team as well as having the opportunity to provide commercial insight and ad hoc analysis to identify business opportunities and drive decision making.
You will initially focus on process automation to improve reporting and you will utilise your past experiences of developing robust financial reporting processes and controls. Once these processes are in place, your time can be spent on further value-adding pieces of work directed by the FD and your own initiative.
Managing a mixture of part-qualified and qualified finance professionals will enable you to delegate workload as you see fit.
You will be a fast-track Senior Finance Manager looking to step up, or will be a proven Financial Controller. You will have the following attributes and experience:
- Demonstrable team management
- Large company experience within the Tech and/or Telco space
- Financial Controllership duties within your current role
- ACA qualified or CIMA qualified through a big company grad scheme
- Ambitious, driven and hardworking
