Financial Controller - Events - 6 Months

Investigo is partnered with an international events business to recruit for a Financial Controller to join the team on an intial 6 month contract with the potential to go permanent. This role is located in Stratford and requires someone in the office 3 days per week and 2 days from home. This role reports directly to the Group General Manager and manages a team of 3.

Your key responsibilities:

- Co- ordinate and manage group cash flow and bank liaison
- Preparation & analysis of group monthly management accounts, performance, variances & trends
- Preparation of group planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Development, implementation & documentation of effective and efficient business processes, internal controls and accounting policies to ensure robust financial control
- Overseeing the transactional finance team
- Liaising with company's external accountants in regards to audit and other ad-hoc matters

Ideally you will be ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified with 3+ years PQE having worked in a similar position. This role requires someone to deal confidently with c-suite and work in the day to day finance details. Preference is for someone who is immediately available.
