Financial Reporting Accountant - Investment Banking - City of London - Salary up to £60,000 + Bonus

Role Overview: Looking to hire a technically proficient accountant with experience in financial services. The business seeking an Associate to join the London Finance team, focusing on financial accounting responsibilities across various branches in EMEA.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the financial accounting process for designated branches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee ledger closure, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
• Prepare statutory accounts and regulatory reports, liaising with external auditors as necessary.
• Support branch restructuring and closure activities, facilitating smooth transitions.
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements and contribute to adhoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field.
• Proficient in accounting principles and advanced Excel skills.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred or part-qualified.
• Experience with financial accounting systems such as Sun Accounts is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
