Financial Reporting Manager Opportunity in Global Financial Services - London - up to £85,000 + bonus

Are you an Audit Manager seeking a transition from Big 4 to a dynamic financial services environment? Or perhaps a qualified accountant with 2-3 years of post-qualified experience in Financial Services, ready to take on new challenges?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly created Financial Reporting team in a high-growth business with plenty of long-term career progression.

The Business: A global financial and technology business offering services across financial markets, commodities, digital assets and more. With a major presence in key markets worldwide, the business has a long-standing history in the City and aggressive growth plans for the next few years.

Role Summary: As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of financial information. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of finance within the Reporting Team, including preparation of high-quality consolidated Group accounts, overseeing subsidiary financial statements, and implementing robust control environments.

There will also be an element of non-Financial Reporting to the role, with ESG high on the agenda for this team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Audit background preferred, either with exposure to FS clients or post-qualified experience in Financial Services.
  • Experience in preparing audited financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS advantageous.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and stakeholder value addition.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Qualified Accountant preferred.
