FMCG ACA Technical Finance Manager

Our Tier 1 FMCG business in Maidenhead are looking to recruit for a technically sound Finance Manager to join their Accounting and Financial Control team.

You will be accountable and manage the financial accounting, processes, reporting and compliance for the business unit. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining an internal control environment, manage all internal and external audits and partner with functional heads. The successful candidate will own the accurate accounting, reporting and compliance of VAT and non UK VAT registrations. You will manage 2 direct reports (Accounting Assistants - contractors) and act as a clear deputy to the Unit Controller.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), possess a professional accounting qualification (ACA) with 5+ years accounting experience in a similar fast paced business environment. It would be highly advantageous and preferred that you will have SAP experience and have strong Excel skills.
