Investigo are delighted to be partnering with VC backed, Tech scale-up in their search for an FP&A Director. This a very exciting time to join the company given their aggressive growth plan + they have almost tripled the size of their finance team in the last 6 months.

The role

As the FP&A Director, you will lead a growing function responsible for business partnering, performing financial analysis and modelling, designing and preparing the financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to the executive leadership. This person will play a pivotal role in driving value based decision making across the company while applying financial acumen to inform strategic and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the consolidated P&L reporting and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly, annual and long-range plan) with high degree of accuracy and transparency
  • Own total revenue & billings forecasts and related analyses, providing visibility and helping to define key topline metrics in partnership with Sales
  • Define, establish and own various key metrics reporting in partnership with other departments and business intelligence
  • Build and enhance financial models through a strategic lens to highlight trends and assess current and future business risks and opportunities and to advising on strategic choices
  • Working alongside Treasury on working capital requirements and FX management
  • Understand drivers of performance and use these to provide guidance to executive leadership
  • Prepare performance reporting materials for Board and other external stakeholders including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow and Other ad-hoc support as needed
  • Drive cost management, process improvements and provide ad-hoc analyses to support the company's growth
  • Provide leadership and foster collaboration across the FP&A org while managing a team of currently 3+

What we think you'll need to be successful:

  • Chartered Accountant with a finance or accounting related degree and 8-10 years PQE in Group FP&A roles
  • Experienced team leader who can scale the team further
  • Track record of influencing leadership decisions through concise communication of complex data analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster collaboration across functions
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Advanced modelling skills required.
