Job description

Investigo are recruiting a 12-month FTC for a FP&A Manager to work with a Multinational Construction business in Central London. The company are looking for a qualified professional, with staff management experience and the pro rata annual salary offers up to £70,000. This will be a combination of office and home working.

Responsibilities

  • Build the financial reporting databases (Jet, TM1, etc) by identifying sources of information; assembling, verifying, and using the data to prepare clear, concise and accurate management reporting
  • Own and deliver coordination of robust annual budgets and dynamic forecasts, long term plans and produce a presentational output of variance analysis of actuals against the budgets/plans
  • Lead in implementing an FP&A framework that drives performance management best practice
  • Support pricing strategy through modelling and sensitivity analysis
  • Provide leadership, management and development to the Project Accounting team
  • Working closely with the executive team develop business-wide KPI matrix and project KPIs
  • Produce regular project KPI reports to share with PMS on their project performance
  • Undertake detailed financial review for major strategic projects
  • Leading on various project teams from a finance perspective
  • Deliver ad hoc projects and analysis to the Financial Director and the COO

Role requirements

  • Experienced Finance professional, with a strong foundation of financial management & business partnering with relevant accounting qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or similar)
  • Proven experience leading a similar FP&A function, ideally from a Construction/Property or Real Estate environment
  • Strong MS Excel skills are essential, knowledge of NAV, Jet and TM1 is useful
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business functions and influence senior management/directors and wider stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload against tight deadlines
  • Willingness to take on a variety of duties as required
