Freelance Associate Medical Director- Oncology

Associate Medical Director/ Sr. Medical Writer, Oncology- MedComms

This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Writer or Associate Medical Director (MedComms) with a strong background in Oncology.

You will develop, oversee and create compelling clinical content for pharmaceutical and healthcare communications; materials which may be delivered through a variety of print, digital and electronic media outlets.

This is a hands-on role but there will be lots of internal collaboration - communicating daily with client services, supporting assigned accounts by providing your clinical expertise and leadership.

To really thrive in this role you will be need to be highly scientific (oncology) as well as strategic, with the ability to quickly process information in order to accurately translate and deliver to the target audience.

Minimum 3 month contract at 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a medical or scientific field
• At least 3 years of hands-on content development and writing experience (Oncology)
• Experience working as a Senior Medical Writer in a medical communications / healthcare ad agency
