Fund Accountant

Investigo is delighted to be partnering with a high growth and extremely ambitious PE investment firm in central London. Offering unrivalled progression, fantastic earning potential and the chance to be a critical hire in their journey to double their revenue in the next 5 years.

This Fund Accounting role sits on the newly formed credit fund offering and will have a distinct focus on more commercial elements of role such as investor relations, data analysis, excel modelling and hands on deal structuring support. Along with responsibility over the following:

• Monitoring Fund projections and reconciling with external parties
• Preparation and review of waterfall/ carry calculations
• Interactions with the Portfolio Management Team to understand amendments, waivers, changes to positions and terms
• Creating financial models to assist with portfolio decision making
• Supporting the Quarterly NAV production prepared under IFRS, Lux GAAP and US GAAP
• Building and maintaining relationships with the Portfolio Management Team to understand deal financing and obtaining a deep understanding of the commercials behind each deal so as to apply this when reviewing the various aspects of the fund
• Supporting the Quarterly investor reporting across multiple funds
• Monthly NAV estimate calculations
• Working with global service providers including fund administrators
• Supporting the Audited annual accounts process
• Review of drawdown and distribution calculations
• Review of management fee calculations

Experience required:

• ACA/ACCA qualification
• Strong excel skills - excel modelling skills a bonus but not essential
• Experience as a Fund Accountant - experience with debt / credit or private equity funds highly advantageous
• Driven, detail orientated and proactive approach
