Fund Controller - Real Estate

Partnering with a high growth investment manager based in London, Investigo is looking to speak with experienced Fund Controllers with experience working with real estate funds to support the growth plans of this team.

Working in proximity to the deal and portfolio teams, this role will play a pivotal part in the launch, maintenance and oversight over the real estate funds - spanning a variety of strategies and structures.

As Controller, you will have responsibility over:

• financial operations of close-ended funds, including oversight of external administrators in the preparation of all financial reporting, production of financial statements and quarterly reports, including industry standard NAV's (INREV)
• Management of the annual audit process
• Playing an active role in supporting portfolio managers during the acquisition, hold and disposition process
• Management of quarterly distribution process to the investors
• Providing Fund performance analysis and bespoke investor due diligence questionnaires
• Mentorship of Fund Accountants

Experience required:

• Fully qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA equivalent with at least 4 years PQE in Fund accounting/ Control
• Expertise within real estate funds - ideally closed ended
• Enjoy building strong internal relationships with drive to keep learning and developing skill set
• Adopt a proactive approach to challenges
