The company operates in an entrepreneurial manner, with much decision-making decentralised. The culture is innovative, informal, energetic and offer a hybrid working policy.

The role:

The successful candidate will form part of the Group Reporting team. The Group Reporting team supports the Chief Financial Officer and Group Finance Director by ensuring that the Group financial reporting is produced in an accurate and timely fashion, in line with accounting standards and Group policies.

Reporting into the Group Reporting Manager, the individual will work within the Group Reporting team to help deliver an effective and accurate consolidation, ensuring that monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting processes and requirements are met.

They will also drive improvements by helping to further standardise reporting and systems processes, both at Head Office and with local Finance Directors across the Group. Through regular, close communication with local Finance teams, they will review, challenge and understand local business results, and will also help to ensure that Group accounting policies are being consistently applied. Doing so will enable to improve the quality of analysis of Group results, which in turn will assist both management and owners with their understanding of business performance.

The successful candidate will play a crucial, end-to-end role in the year-end statutory accounts process, both through preparation of the primary statements, notes to the accounts, and other supplemental disclosures, as well as acting as a key point of contact to support the external audit team through their interim and year-end work.

About you:

With one to two years' post-qualification experience, the individual will be comfortable dealing with both internal (from local Finance leaders through to Management Board) and external stakeholders (audit team and advisors).

Experience of multi-currency consolidations and improving reporting processes will be required. Previous experience of large, complex businesses with a global footprint would be a benefit.

It will be key to become an expert in the relevant systems and processes that underlie the Finance function, and to share this knowledge across the Group through close collaboration with local Finance teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a can-do attitude are required. An individual with good attention to detail and advanced Excel/modelling skills who can adapt to the evolving requirements of both the Finance function and the business we support is also essential
