Group Financial Accountant | Central London | £55-60k + Bonus

Exciting opportunity for an ACA qualified accountant from an audit background who is looking for a Group Financial Accountant role at a leading global publishing business with a supportive culture opportunity for progression.

My client is a well known and leading publishing business who is looking to expand their leading finance function by adding a Group Finance Accountant to the team. This is a fantastic role for an ACA qualified accountant who is looking to make their first move out of practice.

Please Note: This a permanent role for an immediate start.

The Role

This role is based in the Group Reporting team and will be responsible for supporting the monthly reporting processes and consolidation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, completion of statutory accounts, booking intercompany transactions and reviewing fixed asset controls.

In addition to the day to day responsibilities, you will be responsible for improving fixed asset controls, reviewing and improving accounting standards and improving the half year and year end reporting process.

Your Background

You are an immediately available ACA qualified accountant looking to make their first move out of practice. Our client will only consider candidates with an audit background.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Location

Based in Central London with work from home flexibility.
