Investigo are partnering with a large and complex global business who have recently introduced a new IT Operating model to move from a heavily federated IT organisation, dispersed across multiple operating companies, to a more cohesive Global IT function. As a result of this new operating model, the business are embarking on an exciting journey of capability build and maturity, introducing new capability and recruiting a number of new roles. The Group IT Design and Transition Manager is a key role and will be responsible for managing the introduction of new services, or changes to existing Services, by producing Service Design and Transition plans for stakeholders. As you're joining in a "build" capacity, this role will be required to develop a Design and Transition framework and policies and processes to be followed - a great (and rare) opportunity to do this in a global FTSE 100 business!. In conjunction with Project Delivery and the Service Owners, you'll also be responsible for designing Services that meet functional and non-functional requirements that fit within the Service Portfolio and have a fit for purpose IT support wrapping.

The appointed candidate will be experience in Service Management with experience of building and running a new Service Design and Transition Capability. You'll bring experience of managing services within a complex Stakeholder environment and have experience of providing services to a large (1000+) employee business. You'll ideally have ITIL accreditation and ITIL Service design best practice experience. You'll need great communication skills and the ability to engage with people across the world, you'll also have the ability to join a business on a maturity journey where new processes and ways of working are being introduced.
