Head of Business Systems - Beds/Bucks/Herts (Hybrid working, 3 days onsite)

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Business Systems to join an organisation currently undertaking a multi-year transformation of the Technology function, and who are midway through the implementation of a new ERP System. Reporting into the CIO, you'll be responsible for building and leading a team of 15-25 with a focus on designing the operating model for the Business Systems Team, owning ERP upon closure of the programme, and delivering enhancement projects and continuous change. You'll be required to work at the strategic level, owning the medium to long term application roadmap which includes the new ERP system as well at other applications which together form the systems and applications landscape.

The appointed candidate will be an experienced Head of Business Systems with demonstrable experience of ERP systems. It's important that you're able to demonstrate a breath of experience across other applications and systems, gained in an integrated application environment. You will be able to work in a complex, multi-business unit, organisation and can bring stakeholders together and achieve consensus when priorities may be conflicting. As a leader, you will be able to lead with content credibility and functional skills, having the ability to deep dive for a brief time when needed but then swiftly returning to leading and empowering the team.

The business you will be joining is a complex £1bn+ turnover business with over 5000 employees. The business has delivered a strong financial performance and has been minimally impacted by the pandemic, investing in new ERP and also embracing digital and winning awards.
