Head of Cloud Infrastructure - IT Services - £1000PD - Outside IR35
I am currently working with a global IT services company who are looking to bring in a Head of Cloud Infrastructure on a contract basis with the potential for extension or permanent employment dependant on individual circumstances. You will be responsible for the ongoing build, support and maintenance of my clients cloud environment by taking charge of the wider team. The cloud infrastructure will be and is used to connect a large number of remote sites, vendor platforms and a remote user base together.
Key Skills:
Design of cloud infrastructure for site connectivity and operation, for data centers across Europe.
Build of cloud infrastructure for site connectivity and operation, for data centers across Europe, in conjunction with 3rd party vendors and resources.
Technical expert responsible for cloud environment developments and projects and their successful delivery
Peer with Service Delivery Manager and DC Infrastructure Manager to ensure end to end solutions are fit for purpose and can be supported seamlessly.
Experience:
Demonstrable experience planning and delivering Azure cloud projects
Experience standing up a complex Azure environment with secure remote access
Understanding of infrastructure as code, and configuration management applied to windows environments.
Strong knowledge of VLAN and WAF configuration in the azure cloud
