Head of Commercial Finance

Following a positive restructure the business are seeking to recruit a Head of Commercial Finance for a newly created, pivotal role in their division. Reporting into the Finance Director and supporting a team, the CTO, COO and key business heads, this is a unique and unrivalled opportunity to take the next step in your career. The role of Head of Commercial Finance is a new created position and a key hire. With a number of campaigns on the horizon and future M&A activity a key focus, the role has been designed to drive, influence and improve all activity across Commercial finance & Operations. You will act as the subject matter expert in process improvement, you will oversee the analysis and insight for the division, telling the story and providing commercial/ strategic recommendations as well as general finance support. You will be identifying opportunities to challenge the status quo and supporting corporate development activities as time goes on. You will develop and manage relationships across all business levels to maximise revenue, manage and improve cash flow, influence and impact effective financial strategies and maintain a healthy financial position.

The role requires forward thinking, adaptable individuals with a strong FP&A /Commercial grounding (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) and post qualified experience gained ideally in fast growth business. You will be a positive finance leader, able to grasp new methodologies, see the bigger picture and be able to juggle multiple challenges/ projects at any one time. You will have a focus on accuracy, a high attention to detail and a hands-on approach to positively supporting, developing and improving all those around you.
