TITLE:

Head of DNA & Strain Construction - Full-time, Permanent

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

This individual will lead an internal platform for high-throughput assembly and sequencing of plasmids. Oversee the strategy, execution, and day-to-day operations of this high-throughput platform and manage a team of molecular biologists.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD in a relevant, scientific field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the biotech or synthetic biology industry
• Previous people management or leadership experience
• Expertise in molecular biology and modern DNA assembly strategies
• Hands-on experience with lab automation in a high-throughput setting

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Some experience managing a high-throughput molecular cloning pipeline
• Assay development expertise
