My client a FTSE 100 Giant is seeking a Head of Controls & Risk to work in the People Transformation team for a period of 12 Months to cover a maternity leave.
Duties & Responsibilities
Development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Risk and Controls framework, with a focus on Joiners, Movers and Leavers controls.
Consulting with Global Process owners on process changes and impact on the Controls framework
Ensuring appropriate segregation of duties (SOD) and access controls across end-to-end People processes, and resolving any violations through role design and end user provisioning
Creating control KPIs to monitor control environment for the end to end process
Supporting the business to investigate and resolve People process transactions for error and fraud
Implementing the design and operational effectiveness testing of key People controls, including User Access Controls Testing
Liaising with other Second Line of Defence functions to understand how Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools can be used for monitoring and assurance
Ensuring policies are aligned with the Risk and Control framework
Developing and implementing strategies, plans and policies that reduce, avoid, or eliminate People risks and losses
Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best
