Location: 2/3 days a week in Nottingham

Salary: £70,000-£80,000

Job Description

An internationally recognised software house in Nottingham are looking to bring on a Head of Software Development who will be working on and building their brand new highly anticipated software product. You will be reporting directly into the CTO, where you will be involved with supercharging their technology plans and growth of their new, highly anticipated software product. This role would suit somebody who wants to take the next step in their career and have hands on technical leadership and experience within a .NET software development background. The next couple of years are highly exciting where you will be working and developing an international product release, working on their application tech roadmap, from greenfield developments to reinvigorate the platforms, changes, and a number of feature enhancements, all utilising a modern, cloud-based SaaS (Azure) technology stack.

You will be involved with this partner as a key stakeholder where you will be involved with guiding and building this brand new software development product as the Head of Software Development. Where you will be providing technical leadership to a fast growing software team where you will be working on an exciting new product, applications, and business/customer critical systems, this will involve everything from minor enhancements to full-scale application rebuilds to better leverage the tech for customers and make what they do even more accessible to customers. This partner is passionate about providing high quality software development, where you will be central with working with the newest technology and develop new ways of working. You will have the opportunity to lead on a variety of market leading software while providing excellent care to their customers. This role will enable you to have the opportunity to work with cloud technologies and take your personal development to the next level.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Head of Software Development will have the following skills

• Experience of managing a Software Development Team
• Understanding of C#
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Microservices
• Experience with Project Management
