Our leading payments client in London have recently agreed a new strategy for the way they deliver change across the organisation. Change / Transformation was previously siloed across the organisation leading to disparity across the business. It's now to be run centrally through their EPMO function which will work in conjunction with the business leaders, alongside senior transformation staff within the organisation.

There is a very small existing PMO function that will be transformed into a group wide EPMO with much more responsibility & buy in from the business.

The role will be to embed a new EPMO tool to help track, plan, staff & finance projects. It will embed a new way of working across the organisation eventually centralising the change function to improve efficiency. This is build role & will require someone who has built EPMO functions in environments that have high levels of governance / regulatory control.

The role will involve:

  • EPMO built & set up
  • Developing & upskilling a 2-3 existing PMO's
  • Getting buy in across the organisation around the function of the EPMO
  • Setting up programme governance & assurance frameworks
  • Managing key C-Suite stakeholders
  • Working with senior transformation leaders to help them deliver change

The business need the see the following experience from a successful candidate:

  • Previous EPMO build experience ideally at least twice
  • C-Suite stakeholder management / interaction
  • EPMO tool / business systems roll out
  • Embedding a new way of working
  • Blue chip client (ideally FS) experience
  • Development of team members
  • The ability to work with only a small team behind them, this role will not have 20/30+ project tams to draw upon

This role is pivotal to the organisation centralising & delivering change effectively. It has the full backing of the business & will give them access to the highest level of seniority within the business. it will require the person to have build EPMO functions previously & have experience getting buy in when delivering wholesale change. The role will suit an individual that has wide project experience where they have overcome tough challenges to deliver success.
