HR Advisor - 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Peterborough - Hybrid
£200 per day
This role provides high-quality HR support and guidance across the business. You'll manage a range of complex employee relations issues, support organisational initiatives, and act as a trusted partner to line managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercially focused, practical HR advice to managers and employees
- Manage complex ER cases including performance, absence, grievances, and investigations
- Coach and support managers to help reduce formal ER cases and mitigate risk
- Support company-wide initiatives such as performance management, benefits, and organisational change
- Guide and support TUPE transfers, ensuring legal compliance
- Help promote talent and capability building across the business unit
- Review and suggest improvements to policies and procedures
- Partner with the ER Manager to ensure alignment and best practice
- Some UK travel may be required
Required Experience & Skills:
- CIPD-qualified or equivalent degree
- Significant HR generalist experience supporting large employee populations (500+)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and case law
- Demonstrated experience in absence management, performance, TUPE, grievances, and investigations
- Ability to manage projects and deliver HR initiatives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Experience with HRIS (Workday desirable)
