10 Month FTC (Mat Leave Cover) - July/August 2024 - May 2025

Full Time - Hybrid 1 day a week, onsite from Central/South London Campus as per business needs

£55,000 - £59,000

We're working exclusively with a key client of ours in the Higher Education sector as they look for a strong HR Business Partner to join them over the next 10 months. This unique London University sit within a diverse hub in the heart of the capital, truly connected to its local community and surrounding area.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, as senior member of HR, reporting to the Director for People. In this HR Business Partner role, you will have no direct reports, working closely with the HR Change Lead, to business partner both Professional Services and Academic Departments, on;

  • Project work specifically focused on restructuring, consultations, union negotiations, TUPEs and cost saving exercises.
  • Developing leadership/line management capability.
  • Sensitive/complex ER casework
  • Analysis and presentation of workforce data to identify trends or priority areas around resource/talent/succession planning alongside the HR systems team, whilst also ensuring the production and circulation of HR management information/workforce data.

This opportunity requires a true business partner, who can work in a strategic capacity with senior stakeholders, leading on varied HR Projects tailored to the different business units. Whilst working collaboratively with the wider HR team, this role does have a strong degree of autonomy, you will lead on certain strategic projects and drive hands on initiatives.
