Job description
Our client a market leading global payments company are an seeking an experienced Senior infrastructure Programme Director to take the lead on a large Data Centre migration programme. We needs a hands-on individual who will drive the shaping and delivery of a number of workstreams. A strong influencer, you will have experience in data centre migration programmes, a good knowledge of the payments sector and strong stakeholder engagement leveraging third party relationships and building relationships at C-suite and board level.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy and roadmap aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Define and maintain project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
Implement project management best practices to maintain project control, quality, and risk management.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to the project team, ensuring clear communication and alignment with key stakeholders
Engage with senior stakeholders, including executives, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment and support for the project.
Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively and regularly to stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a Senior Infrastructure Programme Director or similar role in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong background in data centre migration, especially within the payments or financial services or on line transactons sector.
Experience in applications, SAAS and Tuning.
Excellent project management skills, including the use of relevant software and tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities
Familiarity with industry standards, compliance regulations, and best practices in data centre operations.
