Job description

Our client a market leading global payments company are an seeking an experienced Senior infrastructure Programme Director to take the lead on a large Data Centre migration programme. We needs a hands-on individual who will drive the shaping and delivery of a number of workstreams. A strong influencer, you will have experience in data centre migration programmes, a good knowledge of the payments sector and strong stakeholder engagement leveraging third party relationships and building relationships at C-suite and board level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy and roadmap aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Define and maintain project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
  • Implement project management best practices to maintain project control, quality, and risk management.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the project team, ensuring clear communication and alignment with key stakeholders
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including executives, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment and support for the project.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively and regularly to stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Infrastructure Programme Director or similar role in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in data centre migration, especially within the payments or financial services or on line transactons sector.
  • Experience in applications, SAAS and Tuning.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the use of relevant software and tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Familiarity with industry standards, compliance regulations, and best practices in data centre operations.
