LEGACY INTEGRATION LEAD


The Project Team is a highly engaged group of experts building operational excellence through: efficient high-quality process and controls; technology enablers; sustaining knowledge and capabilities.

Purpose of role:
The Integration Lead will lead the design, build and maintenance of technical integration for PO, SCP, SCI, digital services and legacy of the Core Solution. Providing technical insights, advice and standards to 3rd parties and internal build teams to deliver a high quality, performant and secure integration solution.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities include:
  • Own the definition and refinement of the integration strategy and design principles for integration across the landscape
  • Accountable for the technical delivery of new interfaces and overall quality
  • Owning the technical design of SAP PO to legacy systems interfaces ensuring delivery to required quality
  • Running the design in collaboration with 3rd parties, internal build team and legacy applications
  • Work closely with functional and business teams to support the translation of requirements into technical specs
  • Design, build and support end to end functional designs for interfaces using EDI (ANSI and EDIFACT standards), SAP IDOCs, APIs, web services and SFTP
  • Test and develop SPA ODataServices, APIs, CPI iflows and APIM components supporting the development teams using agile methodologies
  • Collaborate with other middleware teams in the landscape that manage legacy middleware tools, ETL (extract, transform, load) and SAP PI
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset across the integration landscape


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Key experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in System Integration and Software Development management, updated with current Cloud (SAP Cloud Platform) and Mobile techniques
  • Experience of large scale SAP implementations and transformation programmes
  • Possess a solid understanding of AGILE development methodologies
  • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and strong detail focus
  • Ability to understand, explain and present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working for a multinational organisation and working with colleagues internationally and demonstrated mobility
  • Demonstrable service industry knowledge - ideally with focus on food service industry
  • Experience with remote management
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English language. Preferential working knowledge of other European languages (French, German, Spanish, etc.)
