Interim Finance Manager

My midlands based client is looking to appoint an interim Finance Manager to join them for a 3- 4 month interim period. This role will be a mix of working from home and odd days as required in the office. You will need to be a professional interim who is used to working at a senior level and managing a small team.

This role is accountable for the following:

  • Manage a small team - mainly Accounts Payable staff
  • Production of Balance Sheet and Cashflow
  • Prepayments schedule and journal posting
  • Accruals schedules and journal posting
  • Fixed Asset Register and depreciation journal posting
  • Payroll journal posting
  • Stock listing schedule and movement journal posting
  • Check consolidation adjustments across 3 subsidiaries
  • Balance Sheet Recs (schedule for each business unit)
  • Variance analysis vs budget/forecast
  • Weekly and monthly cashflow reporting
  • Complete VAT return for all subsidiaries

This role is covering while the company recruit a permanent hire but will be also be managing some projects and handing over to a new permanent person when they are appointed.
