Interim Finance Project Manager - IFRS 16

Investigo are currently partnering with a highly acquisitive PE backed property company in their search for an Interim Finance Project Manager to take ownership of a number of initiatives such as contributing to a SAP implementation + accounting for IFRS16. You'll be working closely with the CFO + Finance Director & the role will last between 4-6 months.

The role:

• Contributing to the ongoing implementation of SAP, helping to ensure that business objectives are met, and value maximised in the new system
• Rent and lease schedules, accounting for a new acquisition, accounting for IFRS16, contributing to new system and process developments.
• Working with all departments to identify opportunities for improvement to help ensure finance are delivering against business needs
• Implementation of cross function and cross department finance led initiatives which enhance processes and end user experience
• Assisting with developing finance maturity utilising all available tools including Gartner to align with business size and growth trajectory
• Leading finance systems and process improvements for possible future exit event
• Building new model for rent/lease schedules
• Onboarding accounting for recent acquisition of a Jersey Structure
• Defining and documenting finance processes in line with trajectory of the business
• Drafting and inputting into new delegation of authority document and assisting of improvement of budget governance
• Working with the CFO & Finance Director on ad hoc projects as required

About you:

• Knowledge of finance systems
• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of finance and business processes
• Understanding and knowledge of Financial changes in the current climate, and the implications this can have in business
• Knowledge of real estate and operational businesses
• Qualified accountant with 5 years post qualified experience
• Ability to bring new innovative ideas to the table
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Exceptional planning and organisational skills
