Interim Financial Controller - Private Equity

Opportunity:

We are currently working with a recently PE-backed Hospitality business. Our client has used social media to create a mass online following; which has translated to a large demand for the product. With their latest equity investment, they are looking expand on the 2 sites they currently operate, with ambitions to get to 6 sites in Central London and the South East. This will be an initial 6 month interim opportunity, with options for permanent employment following this.

Responsibilities:

• Management of a team of 6 (qualified and part-qualified), helping with their personal and professional development
• Streamlining the management reporting cycle, cutting down the month-end times
• Analysis and insight of management information for key stakeholders internally and the PE investors externally
• Ownership of the monthly and yearly budget
• Business partnering with the CFO and COO, working towards the strategic future of the business
• Grow the finance team from 6 to 10 in 2021

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA) with at least 3+ years post-qualified experience
• A background in Hospitality would be a great advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Experience leading and growing a finance team
