Investigo are excited to be working with a client based in Hatfield who are looking for an Interim FP&A Analyst to join their growing team!

The Role:

  • The interim FP&A analyst will be reporting into the Senior Finance Manager for FP&A, this role is to manage the financial reporting function for a period of 6 months
  • Lead and develop a team
  • Establishing strong relationships with Business Partners to obtain insight on results to ensure fully understood and presented in a meaningful way
  • Co-ordinating month end close timeline and facilitating FD and CFO P&L reviews during close
  • Manage the preparation of the monthly Board pack
  • Responsible for the reporting
  • Responsible for the consolidation of the monthly operational management accounts and commentary
  • Provide quality data to Commercial Finance to enable Business Partnering
  • Lead on responding to ad hoc requests for analysis and information (note that ad hoc requests typically from CFO, CEO or the Finance Director form a significant element of this role)
  • Develop reports and analysis to give insight into operational cost base by key drivers
  • Preparation of quarterly reporting information, communicated externally and internally
  • Support the FP&A reporting team to deliver on process improvement initiatives that are inflight and any new initiatives or system enabled enhancements that add value to the business or deliver controls improvements, efficiency gains and/or improvements to accuracy and robustness

Profile:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Fully qualified
  • Strong excel
  • Driven and ambitious individual with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

On offer:

Salary circa £68,000 to £70,000

Length - 5 month FTC
