Interim Project Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Project Accountant for a rapidly growing organisation who are true leaders in their sector. The role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful project and management financial information to the business and finance stakeholders.

• Deliver and review outputs of project accounting financial processes
• Ensure appropriate consideration of IFRS15 in the set-up of all new projects and use of accounting structures to optimise financial information
• Business Partner with divisional stakeholders to ensure the requirements for contract delivery are supported
• Ensure insightful financial reporting of project performance
• Ensure the recharges to contract are identified and reconciled
• Review first draft financial / management reporting for use with business stakeholders

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong Project Accounting experience ideally covering revenue producing projects. Experience of business partnering with commercial project teams is also essential.
