Job description
IT Manager - Housing - Inside IR35
A housing association are seeking a IT Manager contractor to join them on an initial 3-month basis.
Knowledge & Experience sought:
- At least 5 years' experience operating at a senior IT level across the breadth of IT disciplines (communications, service desk, infrastructure, applications, development) preferably within a small organisation so understands the hands on nature of the role
- Up to date technical awareness at a level where alternatives can be properly analysed and recommendations provided
- Demonstrable experience of introducing new approaches to technology and working practices
- Proven strategic thinker with the ability to articulate and present ideas. Experience of writing high quality reports, briefing papers, business cases and strategy documents
- Experience of the housing sector or property development sector including good working knowledge of housing management systems - preferably Capita Open Housing
- Experience of IT governance, budgeting and monitoring financial performance and risk management
- Proven experience of managing a team including individual performance management
