Our client, a London Market Insurer has a requirement for an IT Programme Manager to lead an IT Transformation Programme. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the In sourcing of IT teams, moving away from the current outsourcing arrangements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Accountable for scoping, managing and successful delivery of the In-sourcing Programme to the agreed time, cost and quality targets.
- The proactive planning, monitoring, management and reporting of project/programme progress. Chairing and managing the respective meeting forums and governance control points for effective communication and timely reporting of key information.
- The proactive management of all programme and business interdependencies, risks and issues. Initiating corrective action, recovery plans and intervention to achieve successful delivery of the programme.
- The proactive management of the project/programme budget, forecasting, monitoring and reporting spend against the delivery of benefit to the business through the accepted governance and commercial processes. The proactive identification and implementation of efficiency and cost saving initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experienced Programme Manager with a proven track record of delivery
- Experience and proven ability to deliver projects to a clear governance structure.
- Strong stakeholder management expertise across different organisations and levels.
- Excellent communicator
- Demonstrable experience of in-sourcing a Managed Service
- Experience of setting up onshore and/or nearshore offices and working with local authorities on legislation and impacts.
