Salary: £60,000-£70,000

Job Description

Investigo are currently partnering with a leading FinTech Business in Nottingham who are currently looking to bring on a Java Technical Lead into their fast growing software development function. This role will report directly into the Software Development Manager. You will be involved with building and developing your own software development team within a highly efficient software development function. The Java Technical Lead will be managing a team up to 5 developers while still maintaining their hands on experience within Java Technology.

This role will involve you with providing guidance and support to junior members of the team. You will be leading on some highly exciting digital transformation with a key focus using Java 11 while working within a cloud based SaaS (AWS) technology stack. This partner are involved with providing a high performance service while going through this highly exciting transformation. This role would suit somebody who is looking to take the next step in their career, where you will be involved with managing a small team of developers while maintaining their hands on experience.

You will be involved with this partner as a key Java Technical Lead withing their expanding development function where you will be working on the modernisation of several platforms and applications. This will all be completed through this brand new greenfield product application. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of minor enhancements to full-scale application rebuilds to better leverage the tech for customers and make what they do even more accessible to customers. This FinTech business are highly passionate about high quality software development, where you will be central with working with the newest technology in the Java technology stack while promoting new ways of working. This role will enable you to have the opportunity to work with cloud technologies and take your personal development to the next level.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Java Technical Lead will have the following skills

• Java
• Spring
• REST API's
• Microsoft AWS/Azure/GCP
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience managing/mentoring junior developers
• Worked in an agile environment
