Junior Accountant

Investigo are exclusively partnering with an innovative engineering client looking to recruit a Junior Accountant based in Kidlington, Oxford.

In the position of Junior Accountant Kidlington, Oxford you will support the Finance Manager with accounting, financial reporting, project work and business analysis to deliver impactful information to the wider business.

You will be responsible for the ensuring an efficient and seamless accounts payable process, including raising purchase orders, posting invoices, processing payments and reconciling company bank accounts. You will be in charge of managing company expenses and maintaining the expenses accounting system on a day to day basis.

You will also work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO on multiple business improvement projects including system and process implementations as well as period end reporting, budgeting, project accounting and the annual audit process.

As part of a small team in a rapidly growing business you will be exposed to a wide range of finance and operational challenges that will greatly contribute to your development.

The Profile

The successful candidate will ideally be studying early stages of either ACCA/CIMA OR ACA

Previous nominal ledger experience particular around invoice processing

Ability to adhere to tight month end deadlines and capable working under own innovative and collectively as part of a team

Strong communication skills as you will liaise with both internal/ external stake holders

The Salary

£28,000 to £34,000 plus full benefits/ study package (Hybrid working conditions)
