Lead Developer

Live Role for a Lead Developer to start a 2 year Fixed Term contract within a huge Digital Transformation programme. The successful candidate will guide and oversee the in-house development team, providing leadership in an Agile Digital environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Architecture and provide functional leadership to multi-sourced developers across the business. Along with identifying and exploring opportunities for business improvement, so mature development standards are set.

The successful candidate will go through DBS & BPSS clearance checks. The successful candidate MUST have been a resident of the United Kingdom for the last 3 years.

Essential Skills:

- Experience in leading technical development teams in an agile environment

- Communicating technical concepts to a non technical audience

- Extensive Java experience

- Version control system knowledge

- Stakeholder management
