Location: Remote - hybrid working post covid with infrequent travel to London

Our client, a leading in their field are looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer who will take on a small team and be pivotal in new developments and the rebuilding of some key applications. Leading a small team of one other Software Engineer, QA, and Data Analyst, and working closely with the Head of Technology, you will be involved in business-critical builds and enhancements across both new and existing applications. You'll form part of a wider Agile Delivery Team with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and a handful of external partners within this role as well.

Once the initial build has been completed there will be an abundance of new features to integrate into the new application to evolve the customer journey. This will involve a heavy amount of R&D, along with exploration of newer technologies.

You'll join at a time when the initial rebuild is taking place and you'll contribute towards the entire application as an SME and leader. The technology stack is driven by JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and NPM, with some applications and support needed in C# .NET - all hosted in Azure.

So, what are we looking for?

• Hands-on development background working with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and building SaaS / PaaS applications.
• Previous experience building CX focused applications for a myriad of devices, from web to mobile.
• It would be ideal if you have acted or been the lead within a team previously.
• Any notable experience developing or redeveloping enterprise applications with 0000's of users would be hugely beneficial, as would any hands-on Python experience.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £85,000 p/a plus a range of benefits inc. holidays, great pension, healthcare, and a variety of customisable benefits.
