Salary: £55,000-£65,000

Job Description

A leading internationally recognised HealthTech business in Cambridge are looking to bring on a Lead Software Developer within their software development function. This business is essential in the battle against Covid-19 and are instrumental in the global health effort. This role would involve you working on ground breaking technology and will be involved with supporting and developing new software instrumental within the healthcare sector. They are going through a highly exciting growth phase and are looking for a Lead Software Developer who will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects. This role will be second in the team and will have you working directly with the Software Development Manager. You will have the opportunity to work with an internationally recognised business that are working on ground breaking software. The next couple of years are extremely exciting with their continuing growth and the impact they are having in the healthcare field. You will be building and leading an international product release, working on their application technology roadmap all utilising a modern, cloud-based SaaS (AWS) technology stack.

This partner is looking to double their software development team size and capability whilst supercharging their technology over the next couple of years, with the evolution of their new healthcare products. You will have a multitude of opportunities to expand your software testing skills. This role would suit someone with a background working with experience working with Python, Vue.JS and experience managing/mentoring junior developers. This role will involve you working with a variety of big data and will require a core understanding of developing ground breaking software. This role is perfect for someone who wants to take the next step in their career and wants to expand upon their technical capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of market leading software.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Lead Software Developer will have the following skills

• Python
• Vue.JS (Will consider other JS Frameworks)
• Experience managing/mentoring junior developers
• Experience working in an agile environment
