The Microsoft Platform Owner is accountable for the management of the M365 Platform. The role is responsible for the definition, management, and continually improving the platform within the business.
* Run & optimise the delivery of Microsoft 365 services within the Modern Workplace Service, to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to cost and to quality.
* Act as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for the Microsoft 365 platform.
* Develop and embed best practice and new ways of working to ensure efficiency savings are achieved, collaboration is improved, and customer experience enhanced.
* Liaise with the senior leadership team for delivery of M365 applications and services.
* Gather and assess technical requirements for new engagements, manage existing engagements with infrastructure partners, projects and programmes and ensure we maximise the use of M365 as a strategic platform across Persimmon Homes.
* Actively identify and support the prioritisation of M365 functionality to meet the needs of the business.
* Awareness of and accountability for ensuring the platform adheres to and has clear procedures to handle all Regulatory, Compliance and Risk requirements - identifying, measuring, analysing and reporting.
* Support the training and adoption of new tools and services to colleagues, working closely with the Change Manager, and internal communications teams.
* Managing Microsoft 365 security events (Cloud App Security, Email & Collaboration Security,) and implement security features from Microsoft 365 to improve the security level of the environment.
* Managing and monitoring software licensing while maintaining compliance with Microsoft licensing agreements and security requirements.
